Hey, kids! Have you ever wanted to talk to God? Guess what! You can! And it's as simple as picking up the phone and calling your best friend. In this series, we're going to look at all the different ways we can pray! You might have heard some of these words before -- words like intercession, repentance, and thanksgiving. There are all words that describe prayer, and prayer is simply talking and listening to God.

Lesson 2 - The Prayer of Praise

This lesson is about the Prayer of Praise. The prayer of praise is all about honouring God for what you know He can do. Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown in jail, but decided to sing and praise the Lord all night anyway. At midnight, a great earthquake set them free from their stocks and chains and opened all the doors. The jailor rushed in, expecting everyone to have escaped, but Paul and Silas stayed and led his whole family to Jesus. Their lives were changed! That's the prayer of praise!
