Just Like Me! Lesson 9 - Joseph Had Compassion

Hey, boys and girls! Did you know that the Bible is full of kids just like you who did great things for God? It’s like they were super heroes! Each one of these child heroes displayed Godly character. Character traits like HONOUR, BOLDNESS, and COMPASSION. We’re going to look at each of these kids and see how what they did helped them grow up into who they came to be for God. Best of all, you can do the very same things as these kids did, because they are Just Like You! And because you have the Holy Spirit available to help, you, too, can grow up into super great men and women of God!

Having compassion means caring for someone and doing something about it. Today we're looking at Joseph who showed compassion -- Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery when he was very young. Later, Joseph had compassion on them over and over in Egypt, never repaying them for the wrong they did him. Then Joseph's whole family was saved from famine, all because of his compassion!
