Because I am His Disciple, Jesus empowers me to do His work.

Jesus gave to His disciples His power and authority over all the works of the devil. Jesus sent them out to preach and do the works of the kingdom just like He did! Jesus still empowers us today to do the same, with the power of His name and the authority to use it. (Phil 2:10-11)
