Hey, kids! Have you ever wanted to talk to God? Guess what! You can! And it's as simple as picking up the phone and calling your best friend. In this series, we're going to look at all the different ways we can pray! You might have heard some of these words before -- words like intercession, repentance, and thanksgiving. There are all words that describe prayer, and prayer is simply talking and listening to God.

Lesson 7 - Thanksgiving Prayer

The Prayer of Thanksgiving is just that -- thanking God for what He has done for us. While Jesus and His disciples were travelling by a small village in Samaria, a group or ten lepers cried out to Jesus for mercy. Jesus told them to go see the priest, which they could only do if they were cleansed and healed. As they went, their leprosy was healed. One Samaritan man returned to Jesus to give Him thanks. Jesus told him his faith made him not only healed, but whole.
