Hey, kids! Have you ever wanted to talk to God? Guess what! You can! And it's as simple as picking up the phone and calling your best friend. In this series, we're going to look at all the different ways we can pray! You might have heard some of these words before -- words like intercession, repentance, and thanksgiving. There are all words that describe prayer, and prayer is simply talking and listening to God.

Lesson 6 - Conversational Prayer

Moses talked to God and God listened to him, just like you would a friend. After escaping Egypt, Moses led the Israelites through the wilderness to the "mountain of God." Up on this mountain, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. But the Israelites got impatient, and made a golden calf to worship instead of God! God promised to destroy the Israelites, but Moses convinced Him not to. After the Israelites build a tabernacle as a place for God's presence to dwell, Moses would spend time in God's presence, and his face would shine with God's glory. What an amazing relationship! God wants you to be His friend, too!
