Hey, kids! Have you ever wanted to talk to God? Guess what! You can! And it's as simple as picking up the phone and calling your best friend. In this series, we're going to look at all the different ways we can pray! You might have heard some of these words before -- words like intercession, repentance, and thanksgiving. There are all words that describe prayer, and prayer is simply talking and listening to God.

Lesson 1 - Devotional Prayer

This lesson is about Devotional Prayer. The prayer of devotion is all about lavishing our love on God - just for who He is. In Jesus' day on earth, a sinful woman came to lavish her love on Jesus at the home of an important Pharisee. She broke open a jar of perfume and poured it on His fee. In tears, she began to kiss His feet and wipe them with her hair. That's lavish love! When you want to pray this way, you just start by telling God what you love about Him.
