Just Like Me! Lesson 7 - Shad, Mesh, and Abednego Had Integrity

Hey, boys and girls! Did you know that the Bible is full of kids just like you who did great things for God? It’s like they were super heroes! Each one of these child heroes displayed Godly character. Character traits like HONOUR, BOLDNESS, and COMPASSION. We’re going to look at each of these kids and see how what they did helped them grow up into who they came to be for God. Best of all, you can do the very same things as these kids did, because they are Just Like You! And because you have the Holy Spirit available to help, you, too, can grow up into super great men and women of God!

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were Hebrew exiles in Babylon, and stood up to King Nebuchadnezzar to do what was right, in other words they acted with integrity, even when it put their lives in danger. Because of their integrity, Nebuchadnezzar was able to see the greatness of our God. The king had a change of heart, and was convinced that our God was the only true God, and made everyone in his kingdom worship God, all because of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego!
