God Is So Good! Lesson 5/9 - Jehovah Sabaoath, the Lord of Hosts
Welcome to our God Is So Good! lessons. In this series, we will be discovering more of God’s character through His names.
Each name of God shows a different side to His character, and it’s always good! We will also look at examples of God’s good character through Bible stories from Israel’s time under the reign of its kings, and how God’s good character still works for us as New Testament believers.
God is still good for you and me! This lesson is adaptable for children of all ages. Just do the parts that you know will work for your children.

In this lesson, we learn that Jesus has already fought our battles and won! Elisha and his young servant were surrounded by natural armies, but Elisha could see into the spirit, and knew that there were multitudes of angels protecting him from the enemy. Elisha asked God to open his servant’s eyes so he could see, too. God is our protection, and He thwarts the enemy’s plans for us when we simply ask Him for His hosts to protect us.
