Hello! The Holy Spirit has gifts He wants to give to us that are just like having super powers in the spirit. This series of lessons takes a deeper look at the gifts and work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers today, including believing children’s lives!

This lesson introduces the Speaking Gifts of the Holy Spirit where God moves through individuals to deliver His messages. And prophecy is just that — a message from God that edifies (builds you up), exhorts (pushes you forward), and comforts (brings peace).

2) A Bible story that shows the gift of prophecy is in Acts 15 when Judas and Silas traveled with Barnabas and Saul to deliver a letter to the new Christians in Antioch. While they were there, they encouraged and strengthened the believers. The most obvious way to do that is through prophecy, which is specifically for edification, exhortation and comfort! (1 Cor 14:3)
